The Story behind eco saint
Much like the majority of us, my shopping cart with every weekly shop is filled with a variety of fresh fruit and vegetables. It wasn't until one day I unpacked my groceries onto the bench and stood back at the amount of thin plastic bags I had collected after just one shop. That evening, while heavy with a guilty conscience, I began a search online for a reusable product in NZ. While there were options available overseas and a number of mesh products, I couldn't find a bag that would serve to keep humidity in with greens and hold grains if needed. Here began my research around how produce spoils and what they need to prolong their shelf life. After six months of design, testing and re-designing, Eco Saint was born.
